About the Estate
Baarbara Estate sits in the Bababudangiri hills of Chikmagalur, a landscape with a long history of coffee cultivation. Its Arabica grows slowly at elevation, giving the cherries time to develop sweetness and structure.
More than a century later, it continues to bring together two things we value deeply: knowledge built over time and a curiosity about what coffee can become.
That spirit makes the estate a natural home for our Espresso Roast. It is a coffee rooted in one of India’s historic growing regions, but made for the way we drink coffee today.
An Ode to Karnataka
The name Sangoli Strong is inspired by Sangolli Rayanna, one of Karnataka’s most remembered resistance figures, known for his courage and valour in the state’s history.
That sense of place carries through the pack. The illustration draws from Hampi, using its temple architecture, stone forms, and recognisable silhouettes as a visual homage to Karnataka’s cultural landscape. The result is a visual story that sits naturally beside the coffee itself, carrying a little of the region’s history and character into the design.
